Dr. Pezzanite made an immediate connection with our dog, a boy beloved by our family, but few others. The evaluation was stress-free for all involved, as well as thorough and genuinely illuminating. After her report was completed, we didn't expect follow-ups, so her subsequent inquiries about how things were progressing greatly impressed us. A. and J., Huntington, NY. |

We have had Barbara come in and diagnose 2 different situations that we had in our home, with 3 different cats. The first situation was when we had an established cat in the home, and brought a new one home. The second situation was when the established cat passed on, and we then brought a new cat in with the now established cat already in the home. In both situations, she was patient, caring, and had an amazing knowledge of cat behavior, as well as knowing what HUMAN behavior should be with the cats as well. She also was always available by phone, after she had been in the home, and it was so important to have that person to be able to call when my cats were hissing and fighting with each other. I would highly recommend Barbara in any cat situation - she was WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. Thank you, Barbara, for everything!!!! Lauren, New York, NY |

We called Barbara when our beloved cat Rudi suddenly became aggressive. Barbara spend the day with us....She wrote up a behavior plan, and offered many helpful suggestions. My husband and I were extremely impressed by Barbara's skill, knowledge, and empathy towards our cat and our situation. When we later learned that Rudi was dying from a malignant tumor, Barbara refunded part of her fee---at her own will. We would have never suggested this, since she spent so much time with us! This shows a tremendous level of ethics on her part. Barbara is a talented professional in the field of animal behavior. She is a true gift to All Animals and Animal Lovers!! I was desperate and Barbara came to the rescue. She was knowledgeable and had wonderful suggestions to integrate a stray cat into a family of cats. Barbara's finally advice was that some cats need to be the only cat in the household. After several months, I realized she was right and found a wonderful home for Beasley. Thank you Barbara for your dedication and understanding. I would definitely recommend you. Geralyn, West Islip, NY |

I felt that the services provided by Dr. Barbara Pezzanite were extremely helpful for both myself and my dog Special. Dr. Pezzanite was very thorough with understanding what the issues were and in developing a care plan that was specific to our needs. She made herself available to future follow up emails and phone calls regarding any questions or concerns that I may have had. She was also empathetic and caring towards myself and my dog in regards to the issue we were going through. Laura, New York, NY

It has been almost 2 years since your evaluation of our dog’s behavior, and I thought I would send a quick note to let you know that all is going well, and that our dog is a happy, well tempered and loving part of our family. Many Thanks to You! You helped us understand why her behavior was as such, and most importantly, how to prevent un-wanted behavior. We will certainly recommend your services to anyone who is in need of them. When I think back to all the different scenarios you tested her reaction to, I can’t help but still be amused by your witches hat and cane, not to mention my amazement of her reaction (hiding behind me). Your evaluation was certainly thorough. Thank you again for your professional evaluation of our pet. Sincerely, A.M. |
