In-home
consultations allow for the opportunity to observe your pet behaving
as he or she would normally in his or her natural environment. They
are highly recommended for most cat problems and all dog aggression
problems, however an in-home consultation can be conducted for any
pet behavior problem.
In-home
consultations consist of:
a
detailed interview, to find out information about your pet’s
history
observation
of your pet’s behavior in his/her home environment
on
the spot recommendations for your pet’s behavior problem
a
type-written behavior modification treatment plan, to be emailed
or mailed via USPS within 5 business days
six
months of email or telephone follow ups to track your pet’s
behavioral progress and make any modifications to the treatment
plan if necessary.
In-home
consultations typically range from 2 - 3 hours, depending on the extent
of the problem. The fee for both dogs and cats is $125/hour. A $50 per hour/one way transportation fee applies to consultations east of western Suffolk County.
Coming Soon: Telephone consultations via telephone, with the exception of all cat and dog aggression cases.
